In April of 1992, we opened the doors of our small hardware store with a workshop on the Cuesta de la Tapia, to provide our community with carpentry services and custom-made furniture for private homes. This humble hardware store has been the genesis of what Grupo Malasa is today, 30 years later; an international and multinational business group, which incorporates 12 highly specialized and innovative companies, more than 800 employees – some of whom we are proud to say have been working with us for more than 20 years – and multiple lines of business, materials, and services.
After 30 years of activity, we carry the same enthusiasm and determination to continue growing and being a benchmark in our sector, but despite the fact that our image and objectives may change towards more avant-garde ones, there are two aspects that we are not going to change: our commitment to the community that saw us being born and of which we want to continue being a part of and the essence of who we are; a Galician family-owned business that maintains the same values of our beginnings.
On such a special occasion, we would like to take the opportunity to once again thank all our clients, collaborators, and suppliers, but especially our workers, without whom these 30 years would have remained just a dream, regardless of how long they have been with us, all of them contribute with effort, enthusiasm, and dedication to the growth of the Group.
