The Baladrón building, one of the most emblematic constructions of the historic center of Vigo, dates back to 1929 so, due to the passage of so many years, it needed a comprehensive reform.
The reform was carried out by the architectural firm Sinaldaba and after this restoration and rehabilitation, it resulted in 3 apartments, for which from Grupo Malasa we have collaborated by manufacturing and installing custom-made furniture and kitchen elements.

Industrial
aesthetics
For these apartments we have followed a classic aesthetic, matching the spirit of the building, but providing the latest amenities for the tenant’s enjoyment.
The countertops, with a smooth and elegant appearance, were achieved thanks to the materials used, white lacquered MDF for the cupboard and island fronts, and Krion® for the work surfaces.
This material was chosen because it is very resistant, non-porous, anti-bacterial, and easy to clean.

Custom
kitchen
For the attic, an industrial and contemporary aesthetic was chosen, in interesting contrast with the architectural elements of the building itself, historic and classic.
Among all the elements we manufactured for this kitchen, the metal island with legs, fronts, and worktop in vibrated stainless steel shines as the crown’s jewel.
