Turning a house into a home requires a process that can sometimes be very stressful. In the case of this apartment located in the center of the city of A Coruña, at Grupo Malasa we undertook this project in a comprehensive manner, as part of our 360 service that includes our construction services, custom furniture, and interior design of the space.
This means that we assume the responsibility of managing all the necessary administrative processes, contacting and collaborating with all the suppliers and only bothering the client to approve the finishes, designing details, and interior design.

Property in A Coruña
In this home, our client’s goal was to achieve a modern finish without overly modifying the original structure of the apartment except for the kitchen area, which has been extended towards the indoor terrace. For the interior design, we opted to bring warmth through textures, such as the organic brush stroke in the paint on the walls; natural materials such as Carrara marble and Ibiza white along with European oak wood, which shines especially in the kitchen, completely custom-made by our teams, and the adjacent laundry room, which was included by taking advantage of the negative space with the new layout.

We also converted the terrace into a cozy and multipurpose space by merging the street with the interior in a friendly way, applying natural cobblestone for the terrace floor. This new space includes a space for exercising and a seating area.
For the rest of the decoration, our interior designers were in charge of curating a selection of vintage and new furniture to provide an eclectic style and above all to make it feel “lived in” despite being a new construction.
