Landing in Barcelona
In the heart of Josep Tarradellas Barcelona-El Prat Airport, Grupo Malasa has participated in the development of the new retail space for Vidal & Vidal, a brand renowned for its elegant and timeless style.
Our work focused on the manufacturing and supply of all the store’s furniture, following the design by the studio A Space About and respecting the brand’s identity in every detail.

The foundation of the project centers around Canaletto walnut, which brings warmth and depth to the overall design. Built upon this base, MDF elements and lacquered metal pieces in RAL 6003 and 1013 tones are incorporated, featuring both matte and satin finishes.
This combination creates a balanced environment where more understated nuances coexist with softer tones, helping to craft a welcoming atmosphere without losing sophistication.
Each piece was specifically designed for this space, adapting seamlessly to both product display and the daily operations of the store. Beyond the visual appeal, the focus was placed on proportion, ergonomics, and durability, striving for a result that functions naturally on a day-to-day basis without compromising on the quality of every detail.
The project is completed with various elements that help create the ambiance, such as discreet lighting fixtures and sliding partitions inspired by Venetian blinds, which add texture and dynamism.
The glass elements were developed by our company specializing in glass solutions, Fresno Cristal, allowing us to ensure precise execution that is consistent with the rest of the project.
